Fight-Love-Live

I recently took a daytrip with a dear friend of mine. You see she is moving to Georgia and we knew this would be our last jaunt together for awhile. So in an effort to make the most of our goodbyes, we hopped in the car and drove about 34 miles south of San Francisco to the 654-acre country estate of Filoli (FI- Fight-LO-Love-LI-Live). Built along the San Andreas fault line, and nestled along the Santa Cruz Mountains, this grand California estate features a 36,000 square-foot modified Georgian residence and a 16-acre English Renaissance style garden. Filoli is open from mid-February through late October. Admission is $12 for adults and $5 for students and children under 10. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed the many photo opps. Our day at Filoli will be a memory treasured.
